Description
Optional elastic strap for attaching items to the backpack. Includes four metres (4 m) of high quality Invista Cordura Truelock elastic with a grip-enhancing shape and four pieces (4 pcs) of 2M milspec quality cord locks. Also included are two pieces of “cord clips” for you to use if you wish. Designed especially for the Fjällräven Färden backpack, but also suitable for others.
Four meters of elastic cord is more than enough for the so-called crisscross elastic cord system. If you wish, you can shorten the elastic cord or cut it into smaller pieces. The Färden bag shown in the pictures contains the full four meters of elastic, braided together, and it’s actually too tight—so you’ll need less than that. After cutting the elastic, seal the ends with a lighter, for example. Both the rubber band and the plastic parts are NIR-protected, meaning they do not show up on night vision devices, making them suitable for tactical use as well.
