General information

Hukka Arts & Crafts, business ID: 1943345-5, address: Vaarnatie 19, 37130 Nokia; sells products to adult private individuals in the EU. These terms and conditions apply to orders placed through our online shop and are valid from 10.11.2023. We may change these terms and conditions unilaterally from time to time, so please check our terms and conditions each time you order products from our online store.

Product information

The features of the products in the online shop are presented in the product description of each product. We reserve the right to errors in the online shop and to run out of products/raw materials in stock. We cannot guarantee that the appearance of the product received by the customer will exactly match the product image on the website, as the display on your phone/computer, image quality and resolution, among other things, may affect how the product appears in the image. We do our best to ensure that the images on the site are as true as possible.

Price details

The prices of the products are displayed in euros in the online shop and include VAT. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors, supplier price changes or errors in entering product information. Prices may vary between the online shop and retailers.

Delivery time

Most products are made to order, but some of our products are also in stock. Therefore, our most common delivery times are around 2-14 days, depending on congestion, order and delivery method. More specific times will be indicated in the product options. We will also inform you of any delays without delay.

Delivery method and costs

You can choose to have your order delivered to a collection point. It will then be delivered by one of the courier services available, including Posti, Matkahuolto and Post Nord. In this case, when the order is completed, you will be informed of the supplier of the order and any tracking information.

The delivery costs charged for an order depend on the product itself (e.g. weight, packaging) and the delivery method chosen. Delivery charges are automatically added to the total amount of the order. You will see the delivery charges (if
delivery charges are charged) in your shopping cart before you accept your order. If the total value of your order is 100€ or more, no delivery charges will be applied.

Ordering and contract

An email address and telephone number are required to subscribe. You can order products on our online shop website by adding them to your shopping cart, confirming your order and paying for the contents of your shopping cart in the payment service. When ordering from our online store, you are required to have read and agreed to our current delivery terms and conditions. You understand that your order, once accepted and confirmed by us, is binding, except to the extent that the right of withdrawal is mentioned below, and creates a contract with these terms of delivery between us.

Payment and payment terms

You can pay for your order using the payment methods described in the online shop and available in the shopping cart. Currently, the payment method for orders shipped is online banking and credit card payment. Paytrail acts as an intermediary for online payments.

Payment service provider

The payment service is provided by Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj appears as the recipient of the payment on the bank statement or card bill and forwards the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj is a licensed payment institution. In case of complaints, please contact the supplier of the product in the first instance.

Order and payment confirmation

After a successful order, an order confirmation email will be sent to your email address, so please provide your email address when you place your order. The order confirmation will also confirm the payment method used. If for some unexpected reason we are unable to confirm your order, we will notify you by email as soon as possible.

Right of withdrawal and refund conditions

For products in stock, you have, as a general rule, the right under Finnish consumer protection law to cancel your order by notifying us no later than 14 days after receipt of the goods or the last consignment or, in the case of regular delivery of goods, the first consignment. Some of our products are unique and are not manufactured until the order arrives, these products cannot be returned. Cancellation notices must be clearly indicated on our contact form. Please also include the notification with the goods to be returned. Returned products must be in their original packaging, unused and well packed for return. We reserve the right not to refund any damage to the products due to poor packaging.

If the transaction is cancelled, the goods must be returned without delay and no later than 14 days after the notice of cancellation is given to our return address below. If necessary, the person returning the goods must prove that they were returned within the time limit, for example by means of a return receipt. The returning party must pay the costs of the return and these costs will not be refunded to the returning party. When returning a delivered order, please include your name and contact details and your account number for the refund. We will refund the money you have paid for the order accordingly without delay in accordance with consumer protection law, excluding
any delivery charges purchased as an additional service. Failure to pick up your shipment does not constitute a refund and will be charged €20.

Shipment check, error and problems

Please check the delivery as soon as you receive it. If a product is lost or damaged during transit, or otherwise does not match your order or is faulty, please notify our customer service team as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days, and we will agree how to rectify the fault. Our priority is always to repair the defective product and, if necessary, replace it with a new one. In consumer transactions, we comply with the mandatory liability provisions of the Consumer Protection Act. Please note that leather and metal parts may change colour or wear over time. This is called patination and it’s perfectly normal, not a defect in the product.

Limitation of liability

We strive to manufacture our products from high quality materials. However, the products are not intended for use subject to significant external forces, if they are used under extreme conditions or in a way that is not normal for the product. Always handle products with care and caution. Also follow the instructions on the product labels and descriptions. Hukka Arts & Crafts shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage, direct or indirect, or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with the order, delivery or product or any of the foregoing, except to the extent otherwise provided by mandatory provision of the Consumer Protection Act or other mandatory law with respect to such loss or damage.

Disagreements

We aim to resolve any disputes regarding your order by agreement in the first instance, so please contact our customer service team in the first instance to settle the matter.

If a dispute over a commercial contract cannot be resolved by negotiation between the parties, the consumer can refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi). Before taking the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer should contact the Consumer Advisory Service of the Local Register Offices (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi).
